so, somehow or other, i had managed to convince Pn. Thamarai to let me go for the National Science Quiz thing today in SMK Wangsa Melawati. i actually just wanted to go to get the cert. and i thought, general knowledge can't be that hard right?

me, fatin, yen wing, viknes, vyn gie and michelle arrived with Puan Thamarai around 9.00 am. saw a lot of students. and not just typical students, these are students with "i am smart so back off" stamped on their forehead. as usual, fatin started freaking out. and i on the other hand was just randomly looking around if there was somebody i know. then, i saw this familiar-looking prefect talking to his teacher. and guess who it was??

IMRAN. from SMK Seri Hartamas. from Red circle. :)haha. no, i don't really know him. never even met him even, but being alia's walking diary all my life, his name and photo has came up often. i went to say hi but the conversation was cut short as the teacher asked everyone to pay attention. some of the schools including mine, had to move from the hall to the labs as there were really not enough space for all of us. after having confusing instructions from the teacher-in-charge, i ended up at the same table as he was. he was a bit confused when i told him i knew his name, but when i said, "i'm nana, alia's cousin." he was like "ohhhhhh." haha :D


the quiz was hard. i mean, not i-didn't-study hard, it was it's-still-hard-even-if-i-did-study kind of hard. o.O
u see, even if i had decided to really study for it, i still wouldn't have known who invented hotmail. ughhhhhhh.asdfghjkl;''
even yen wing, the oh-so-smart chicken said it was hard. can you imagine me, the plain average Farzana doing it? adoi.

either this was definitely not general knowledge or i'm just not good enough. =.='
i'm still hoping to get to the second round. although the chance is ridiculously small, it won't hurt to pray right? huh.
